TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE
These are the Terms & Conditions for booking a photo booth from Stylish Photobooth.
Booking
A booking is not confirmed until the client submits a Booking Form, pays any costs as outlined under ‘Payments’ in these terms and conditions, and receives confirmation of the booking from Stylish Photobooths.
Payments
A non-refundable deposit of $250 of the booking cost is payable for booking. The booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received.
The balance of the booking cost is required 15 days before the event.
If the balance of the booking cost and the bond are not received more than 15 days prior to the event, the booking will be cancelled and the client will forfeit the deposit.
If the client requests use of Stylish Photobooths services in excess of the time noted on the Booking Agreement, this will be billed at $100 per additional hour or part-hour.
Access, space & power requirements
The client shall ensure a safe and appropriate environment is provided for Stylish Photobooths to operate its equipment.
The client must ensure:
- space of 3m x 3m at least or more.
- access to 240v power within 10m of Stylish Photobooths equipment.
- all doorways and access paths are at least 80cm wide for entrance.
if an outdoor event, optional an undercover area if any chance of poor weather.
A survey of the event location may be required if Stylish Photobooths is not satisfied that a suitable location will be provided. This survey may incur an additional fee of $50.
The client is responsible for paying any charges if imposed by the venue management, or required to access the venue. These charges may includes, but are not limited to, parking and electricity.
Changes & cancellations
Requests for changes of the event date must be made at least 21 days before the original event date. A date change is subject to availability and receipt of a new Booking Form.
All cancellations will result in the client forfeiting the deposit, however if stylish Photobooths is notified of cancellation more than 30 days before the event date, credit to the value of the deposit will be refund to the client.
Cancellations made within 30 days of the event date will result in the client forfeiting all payments made to Stylish Photobooths, with the exception of the bond which will be returned to the client within 3 business days of cancellation.
Stylish Photobooths can cancel any booking at any time. If stylish Photobooths decides to cancel a booking, all payments made will be refunded to the Client.
Damage to equipment
In order to prevent damage to equipment, Stylish Photobooths reserves the right to deny service to any person. If circumstances arise where a threat, damage or violence to Stylish Photobooths staff or equipment, Stylish Photobooths reserves the right to cease providing services. If the client is able to resolve the threatening situation within 20 minutes, Stylish Photobooths will resume services. If the situation is unable to be resolved, Stylish Photobooths will not resume providing service and the client will receive no refund of booking cost.
Any damage to Stylish Photobooths equipment during the client’s event caused by the client, client’s guests or any other person in attendance at the event whether invited or not, will result in the cost to repair/replace the equipment to be deducted from the client’s bond. The client is liable for extra costs If the cost to repair/replace is more than the bond,
Use of images
We respect your privacy. images will be only used if Stylish Photobooths client gives permission for all photos taken during the event to be used on Stylish Photobooths website and other promotional material.
Indemnification
Stylish Photobooths will not be held responsible for any circumstances outside their control. This includes, but is not limited to, fire, riot, civil commotion, accidents, acts of nature and equipment failure. If such circumstances arise, all reasonable efforts will be made by Stylish Photobooths to provide service or find a suitable replacement service. If this is not be possible, the client will receive a refund of all payments received by Stylish Photobooths for the booking.
The client agrees that in all circumstances, Stylish Photobooth’s liability is limited to an amount equal to the booking cost and not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Attendants
Attendants are to be provided with a supplier meal at all functions of 4 hours or more to the same standard as the guests of the function.
